3.6L Pentastar V6 with eTorque
This mild hybrid engine is the standard model for the starter trim levels of the 2025 Ram 1500. Capable of 305 horsepower and 269 + 90 lb-ft of torque though, it’s a more powerful option than most starter-level engines.
3.0L Hurricane I6
The 3.0L Hurricane I6 engine comes standard on the Sport, Rebel, and Laramie trim levels, and is also available as a replacement for the Pentastar in both the Tradesman and Big Horn. This engine earns its hurricane title by getting a strong 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque, but even still, there’s an even more powerful engine available in the 2025 Ram 1500.
3.0L T6 Hurricane High Output
The 3.0L T6 Hurricane High Output engine comes standard in the top-tier trim levels of the 2025 Ram 1500 (the Limited, Limited Longhorn, and Tungsten), and there’s a reason for it. With a whopping 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque, this engine is a powerhouse
